When the Channel 5 Gadget Show approached Mark Wright Training Limited to provide Height Safety Consultancy, Rigging, Supervision, Equipment and a Roped Access Camera Operative, we were happy to oblige in safeguarding their 'Super Hero', Jason Bradbury, as he scaled a building using 'suction pads'. 'Captain Gecko' reached the top of the 30 metre high Fort Dunlop Building, Birmingham, completely unscathed to give a safe but dramatic victory wave from the edge of the roof.
Despite the special effects gadget having faulty suction pads, presenter Jason Bradbury was in safe hands and the exceptional camera angles achieved by Leif Johnson, our Roped Access Camera Operative, were used extensively in the final cut.
We were able to provide a similar service for Sky TV's, Police Bravery Awards. Officers averted a potential multiple fatality by rescuing a disturbed and suicidal man who flailed on the edge of a bridge over a busy Motorway.
